About the MITS Surveillance Alliance

About

The MITS Surveillance Alliance (MITS Alliance) is a leading coalition focused on establishing MITS as a standard approach to mortality surveillance for all populations. Our goal is to scale up the use of MITS globally. We facilitate the use of MITS by interested institutions and researchers and help grow the network of partners using pathology-based surveillance in various populations, geographies, and contexts.

Our network includes surveillance site partner organizations implementing and using pathology-based surveillance systems, as well as partner institutions working and interested in establishing MITS as a standard mortality surveillance approach.

The MITS Surveillance Alliance is sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
